Duration           :           2 months (8 weeks)

Placement        :           At the end 5th year of MBBS course

Student placed in batches & batches will rotate.

 

Evaluation of Students

Formative

After each topic – Item is completed

Item card is completed during ward placement

At the end of ward placement – Students are evaluated by OSPE, viva & clinical exam

At the end of block placement–evaluated by Assessment exam

Formative Assessment

Formative assessment will be done by result of in-course (card/Item/card completion) and end-course final assessment examination & class attendance both lecture & tutorial.

            Card/Item/card completion     :           6 marks (3 + 3).

                                                                            >  85% = (3 + 3 marks), 70 to 84% = 2.5 marks.

                                                                            60 to 69% = 2 marks.

            Class attendance                       :            02 marks

                                                                          >  90% = 2 marks, 81 to 89% = 1.5, 75 to 80% = 1,

                                                                          ˂ 75% no marks.

            Final assessment                       :           2 marks
