Chattagram Maa-O-Shishu Hospital Medical College (CMOSHMC) is one of the top ranking private medical college in Bangladesh.
A group of committed social workers in Chattogram led by the late Dr. A.F.M. Yusuf opened the hospital in an incomplete, run-down, and deserted central government employees hospital building in Agrabad on December 31, 1979, "The International Year of Children." In order to give the kids free medical care, the outpatient department (OPD) opened. With 10 beds, the indoor medical services began offering free care to underprivileged kids in 1985.
